Description: The younger brother of the famed Dominique Peccatte, Francois was born March 10, 1821. Moved to Paris in 1840 to work in the bow trade along with his brother and other famous bow makers at the time. Eventually died October 30, 1855 at the age of 34 from ill health. This bow is mounted in nickel silver and has a wonderful stick of dark, dense Pernambuco. This bow is in excellent condition at this time. 59.5 grams. Certified by Paul Childs.
