Description: This violin by Eric Benning was made on a Carlo Bergonzi model. Gorgeous two-piece back made of Bosnian maple from the 1930’s. The two-piece spruce top was fashioned from Northern Italian spruce, also from the 1930’s. The violin is fitted with a gorgeous set of boxwood fittings in the carved style from Bois d’harmonie in France. This violin has a rich and powerful tone with a beautiful ability to draw colors and depth. Back length: 35.6cm
