The Maker

Hill & Son-style underside into his designs, creating fine cello bows that are celebrated for their strength, balance, and tonal richness. After honing his skills in Paris, Ouchard joined the prestigious Vidoudez firm in Geneva, Switzerland, where his bows gained acclaim among professional cellists. In 1971, he became a professor of bow making in Mirecourt, France, further solidifying his legacy as a leading bow maker for fine cello bows sought by discerning cellists worldwide.
