Description: This cello by Eric Benning in 2014 was made on the classic model by Antonio Stradivari. This cello has an unparalleled, two-piece, quarter-cut, Bosnian maple back from the 1960’s. The top was fashioned from Northern-Italian spruce which the family acquired in the 1950’s.
Gorgeous flames in the back and strong hazel-spruce markings on the top make this one of Eric’s most visually stunning instruments. The Stradivari model gives this cello a rich, clear and powerful tone. Very easy to speak and depths of color are available.
