Description: Gaspare Lorenzini most likely studied under J. B. Guadagnini, with whom he was closely associated with. Gaspare worked in Piacenza, Italy, his entire career. Gaspare continued crafting fine instruments until the impressive age of 87. This viola is from the Reuning & Son shop in Boston and is here in our studio for the Viola Exhibition.
