Description: Oded Kishony began violin making independently until receiving a formal education at the VSA, Mittenwald, Germany, and studying the Italian tradition while in Cremona. Following his training, Oded was hired by Stephen McGhee to work at his restoration shop in Manhattan. Now days, Kishony resides in Charlottesville, Virginia where he continues to craft his well sought after instruments. This particular viola was made in 1988 and remains in excellent condition. 16 ½ inches back length, bright clear focused tone.
