Description: Born in 1842 in Mirecourt, Nestore studied violinmaking under his father, Leopold. He then worked for Sebastian Vuillaume in Paris in 1863. After five years, Nestore worked independently, until taking over the Vuillaume workshop in 1875.
This particular violin is in excellent condition. One piece back of beautifully flamed bosnian maple. Back Length: 35.6 cm.
