Description: Peter Prier was born and raised in Germany, and began playing the violin at 8 years old. As a teenager, Peter studied the art of violin making and later moved to America in 1959. Five years later, Peter founded the Peter Paul Prier Violin Shop in Salt Lake City, Utah. He later established the Violin Making School of America, as well as the Bow Making School of America in 1998. Peter also contributed to the founding of the American Federation of Violin and Bow Makers, and the Violin Makers Society.
This particular cello is a Gagliano model and is in excellent condition. It is a bit more petite than the average cello and has a bright tone.
