The Violin
This Stradivarius-model violin features a striking one-piece maple back with deep, wide flames, seamlessly echoed in the ribs and scroll. The top is crafted from wide, straight-grained spruce, selected for both its acoustic properties and visual refinement. Chamfers are tastefully blackened, and the instrument bears the maker’s signature in multiple locations inside the body, with branding present both internally and externally. Finished in a rich red-orange brown varnish, gracefully worn from play, the instrument carries a sense of both maturity and poise.

The Maker

Trained under respected makers such as Caressa and Silvestre, Hel combined precise workmanship with rich tonal depth, producing violins, violas, and cellos favored by both soloists and ensemble players. His instruments often show the influence of Italian masters like Stradivari and Guarneri, with elegant arching and warm, golden-brown varnish.
