Description: Giovanni began his passion for wooden bows after rehairing his own double bass bow many times due to the lack of quality bow repairman in Italy at the time. He received some advice from Otello Bignami, and later ended up in the workshop of Siegfried Finkel in Switzerland for a little over a week. In 1976, he began teaching bow making in Cremona. His passion for bow making eventually led to his patent of the LucchiMeter, the tester that measures the acoustic properties of materials, and the LucchiSound, which identifies important harmonics.
This particular bow is in excellent condition. The round stick is mounted with gold and tortoiseshell. Weight: 72.3 grams.
