LA Violinist Michael Garcia Purchases Violinmaker Eric Benning’s First Violin

Los Angeles-based violinist Michael Garcia has purchased Eric Benning’s first violin – the “ex Raymond Wurfl” – crafted by Eric from age 8 to 11.

Michael studied with Sidney Szathmary, Principal Violinist of the Indianapolis Symphony, and has performed as a member of both the Symphony of the Verdugos and the West Valley Symphony.

Michael currently performs with the Los Angeles-based folk ensemble “The Storytellers”, playing keyboards, mandolin and fiddle.

Eric has earned an international reputation crafting violins, violas and cellos at his Los Angeles violin shop, Benning Violins.

We at Benning Violins wish him many years of enjoyment with his new violin.
