Violinist Cyndi Hall
Violin
Violinist Cyndi Hall is a native of Southern California who picked up the violin as an adult in her late thirties. Through hard work and discipline, she found herself performing in church orchestras after just eight months, and within four years was performing in symphonies, teaching, and pursuing a second Bachelor’s Degree in music — her first having been in Psychology. After fourteen years on her instrument, studying under violinists Sharon Cooper, Leslie Katz, and Miwako Watanabe, Cyndi has performed with numerous symphonies, chamber orchestras, college orchestras, and musical theater productions throughout Los Angeles and Ventura counties, including the LA Valley Symphony, Moorpark Symphony, CSUN Orchestra, Channel Islands Chamber Orchestra, Ventura Baroque Chamber Orchestra, and the Footworks Youth Ballet Orchestra. She has also worked as a studio musician on animated television recordings, with credits including the Walter Murphy Orchestra, Ron Jones Influence Orchestra, Seth MacFarlane’s live-to-tape variety show, American Dad, Family Guy, The Cleveland Show, and King of the Hill. Cyndi has used her Benning violin throughout her entire career.
