Violinist Tito Quiroz Angulo
Violin
Violinist Tito Quiroz Angulo was born in Mexico. His family moved to the orphanage in Vicente Guerrero where Nancy Benning was teaching violin, and he quickly became her best and most enthusiastic student. She continued to teach him after the family moved to Ensenada. Tito began teaching violin in a small garage, then moved to a small shop he shared with his mother. In January of 2010 he opened the Benning Academia in a larger building with 7 classrooms and a large room accommodating orchestra rehearsals, recitals, and concerts. The school now serves over 300 students. He also brings violin instruction to the local juvenile prison, hoping to share the love of music with Ensenada and all of Baja California.
